“Intersecting timelines and models suggest the biblical end time may
begin with calamity on August 2, and if so, it will have huge
significance,” says Dr. Richard Ruhling, a retired author and biblical
researcher, offering examples.

Israel was in apostasy for 390
years, Ezekiel 4:5. But God said, If you don’t hearken to Me, I will
punish you seven times over, Leviticus 26:21,24,28. Seven times 390 is
2730 years. Israel was taken captive by Assyria in 722 BCE (Wikipedia).
They scattered, settling Europe, intermarrying with Christians, and
came to the New World. 2730 years, from 722 (BCE) is 2008, but with no
year “0,” it points to 2009. America is part of Israel (10 tribes) that
scattered.

We are in bondage to a medical system that does not
deliver health, an educational system that fails to convey moral values
and a government that is now moving to control many areas of business,
health care and private life which are no longer private.

When
God got ready to free His people from bondage in Egypt, He attacked the
gods of Egypt. They worshipped the Nile; it turned to blood. They
worshipped cattle; they got disease. We worship money, and we are
seeing changes, and more to come? When congress met to approve $760
billion bailout, it was October 1, the eve of the thin crescent
signaling the Feast of Trumpets in Leviticus 23:24. Trumpets blew for
10 days till the Day of Atonement, a type of Judgment Day. And every
day for 10 days, world markets crashed in an unprecedented way.
Coincidence?

Christ’s warning in Matthew 24:15 was understood by
early believers as referring to Rome. When Cestius brought the Romans,
Christians fled and were spared the siege by Titus a few years later.
The Roman Empire fell, but the papacy emerged. John Paul went to
Jerusalem (like Cestius) and Jerusalem has been “compassed with armies”
(hostile forces) suggesting “the desolation thereof is nigh,” Luke
21:20.

When Titus sieged Jerusalem, Herod’s Temple burned on
the 10th day of the 5th Jewish month according to Josephus, the same
date Solomon’s Temple burned 700 years earlier, Jeremiah 52:12,13. The
10th day of the 5th month is August 2. Calamity on that date may seem
like a coincidence, but it would have significance that begs further
understanding.
