Val-Kro, Inc. Installs State Of The Art Aluminum Anodizing Line
North
Tonawanda, New York, USA, June 24, 2009 – Val-Kro, Inc., a leading
provider of industrial plating services, is now offering aluminum
anodizing services at its New York production facility. Val-Kro has
been providing industrial plating services to the automotive,
aerospace, and medical industries since 1960.
According to
General Manager Jim McCarrick, Val-Kro is having success penetrating
the hardcoat anodize market. McCarrick believes their success in
attracting hardcoat customers is directly related to the chilling
capability of their anodize system. “Hardcoat anodizing requires the
anodizing cell to maintain a temperature of between 32 and 34 degrees
F, McCarrick said. “Our processing line is properly equipped with a
chiller to attain this temperature which eliminates the need to use
additives to reduce the bath temperature.” He indicated that proper
chilling results in more consistent thickness and hardness across the
surface of the anodized part. Additional information about anodizing
