signed a 9 year agreement with China Unicom (NYSE:CHU), a Chinese Government owned entity.
The
China Voice Holdings and China Unicom agreement is for the private
labeling of their SKY O/A Office Automation system under the ICT
Business brand. SKY O/A is geared towards government, educational and
commercial applications, allowing multiple workers to collaborate on a
single project. China Voice will be responsible for the application
development, software upgrades, maintenance and support.
China
Unicom offers GSM telephone services, fixed-line voice, broadband and
other internet related services. As of 2008 year end, China Unicom had
over 133 million GSM customers in 31 provinces across China. Under the
agreement, China Unicom will be responsible for all networks used for
the SKY O/A system, first level customer support, billing, collections,
hosting, monitoring and maintenance of the software as well as
marketing and promoting of the ICT brand.
