Sarah & Sparky Marquis are proud to announce the release of
their newest vintage of Mollydooker Wines, scheduled to hit the US
market on August 13th – International Left-Hander’s Day. (Mollydooker
is an Aussie term for a left hander.) To kick off the new vintage the
dynamic duo, named as Robert Parker’s “Top Wine Personalities”, will be
hosting the first-ever Mollydooker Carnival 2009 release party (named
in honor of their Carnival of Love Shiraz, which has made the Wine
Spectator’s Top 10 list two years in a row).

In addition to new
releases, guests will enjoy tasting Velvet Glove, Carnival of Love,
Enchanted Path and Blue Eyed Boy, the #1, #2, #3 and #4 top-rated
Australian wines from the 2007 vintage, along with a sample of Eclat
Chocolate’s new hand-made “Boxer Shiraz” truffles. In true
Mollydooker-style Sarah and Sparky are keeping things fun on all
levels, so guests should expect a few surprises out of ‘left field’
such as an appearance by Ivan Rusilko, who holds the Mister USA 2008
title, dressed as one of the Lefty characters (www.ivanrusilko.net).

absolutely can’t wait to land in California and start sharing the new
wines with all our friends – they are powerful, bright, multi-layered,
dynamic and mind-blowing.” remarks Sparky in anticipation of the
celebration. The whole family will be there to celebrate including Luke
(their son, The Blue Eyed Boy), Holly (their daughter, The Gigglepot),
Janet (Sparky’s Mum and General Manager) and Leigh (Sparky’s Dad and
Vineyard Manager).

The Carnival will take place at a gorgeous venue, both indoor and out, in the heart of Napa Valley.
